Type your text and each letter goes into a box. Three boxed styles are at the top, and the rest of the styles are below.

This makes styled text out of special characters. It is not a font file, and some screen readers read it badly, so use it for decoration only.

Example

The text Hello, world in this style:

Squared
πŸ„·πŸ„΄πŸ„»πŸ„»πŸ„Ύ, πŸ…†πŸ„ΎπŸ…πŸ„»πŸ„³
Filled squares
πŸ…·πŸ…΄πŸ…»πŸ…»πŸ…Ύ, πŸ††πŸ…ΎπŸ†πŸ…»πŸ…³
Parenthesized
πŸ„—β’ β’§β’§β’ͺ, β’²β’ͺβ’β’§β’Ÿ

Three boxed styles

Squared puts each capital letter in an outlined box. Filled squares are solid blocks with the letter cut out. Parenthesized wraps each letter in round brackets, such as (a).

Capitals only, mostly

The squared and filled square sets have capital letters only, so lowercase letters come out as capitals and digits are left alone. The bracketed style has lowercase letters and the digits 1 to 9.

Some come out as emoji

On many phones the filled squares are drawn as emoji, in colour and a different size from the surrounding text. A few, such as the filled A and B, are standard emoji buttons. You cannot recolour them.

Fine for short words

Boxed letters are good for a short word or an initial and slow to read in a sentence.

Questions

Why do my lowercase letters turn into capitals?

The squared sets contain capitals only, so lowercase has nothing to convert to.

Why does one of my letters look like an emoji?

Some filled squares are also emoji. Devices draw those in colour, with their own style.

Do numbers work?

In the bracketed style, digits 1 to 9 become bracketed numbers. The squared styles leave them as they are.
